October 25, 2001 New comic!! Anyway, last Sunday I went to the "United We Stand" concert at RFK stadium in Washington, DC. The concert was actually a recording session for next Thursday's airing and it was 12hrs long. (Supposed to be 8 hours but ran long.) It featured Michael Jackson, 'NSync (Yay JC! So great!), O-Town, Backstreet Boys, Bette Midler, Mariah Carey (Who, most agree, sucked. They spent over 30minutes just setting up her stuff on stage), Train, Usher, Billy Gillman (that creepy country boy) and more. Everyone except Mariah gave an exemplary performance and at the end they (plus Mya who showed up just for this part apparently.) all sang a new song by Michael Jackson.
